Summarize the understanding of God, of humanity, and of their relationship in Judaism.  You should use evidence from of the following sources: the Overview of Judaism, Genesis 1-3 (be sure to cite the Book, Chapter, and verse(s) you use), and Ochs’ article “Do We Worship the Same God?” Identify any similarities and differences between the two traditions.  Can this comparison to answer questions like the ones Ochs asks in his article (“Do we worship the same God”) This assignment is worth 10 points (10% of course grade) and will be graded on the following: 1.  Following the instructions and addressing all three parts of the prompt 2.  Using evidence and from the sources indicated 3.  Coherent language and structure throughout the essay 4.  A clear argument or case made for your perspective 5.  Evidence of attempts to correct any obvious grammar or spelling mistakes before submission (that is, re-read your work and run a grammar/spelling check before you turn it in) and citing authors and page numbers in your response
